Murderer of Cecil the Lion Returns To Work – No Regrets
Walter Palmer plans to return to work the Tuesday Sept 8th. After keeping low for the month of august, he has decided to resurface and address the public about his future. When asked about why he went into hiding, he denied about hiding and said he was just spending extra time with families.
“I have a lot of staff members, and I’m a little heartbroken at the disruption in their lives,” Palmer told the AP and Star Tribune. “And I’m a health professional. I need to get back to my staff and my patients, and they want me back. That’s why I’m back.”
He has no regrets toward killing Cecil the Lion and thinks that the anger toward his staff members and family is rather excessive.
This has been especially hard on my wife and my daughter,” he told the AP and Star Tribune. “They’ve been threatened in the social media, and again … I don’t understand that level of humanity to come after people not involved at all.” – Star Tribune
Cecil the Lion Before Being Slaughtered by Palmer
Palmer even dares to show his putrid face again. And thinks the media has been unfair to his family. What about Cecil’s family? He’s dead. Palmer, you’re still alive. So, your family has to face a bit of media coverage and people being outraged their father/husband/dentist slaughtered an innocent animal loved by many. You turned Cecil from a lovable alive Lion into a martyr to your greed who now is dead. And those who love him have to mourn his death and the life you, Walter Palmer, stole from him.
Palmer should rot in Hell on Earth for the rest of his days. And if his family is unhappy because their bread winner is a murderer and the whole world is being kept informed of that fact, then so be it. He and family deserve all that rains down on them. If his family hates the media storm so much, why don’t they leave him and change their identities. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to be associated with Walter Palmer, MURDERER of INNOCENT ANIMALS, in any way. He baits them away from their safe home, shoots them with an arrow, but not killing them, then stalks them for days, finally slaughtering and butchering, the “important” parts for TROPHIES. Is this what he is trying to protect his family from being exposed to?
Is his family blind? He is a MURDERER who should be punished for his crimes. Until Justice is carried out on Walter Palmer, he will continue to be haunted by the souls of those he MURDERED and the people who will continue to remember what he has done.
He should have a middle initial. All the best serial killers do.

The slaughter of this lion – and many other animals – for sport, sickens me. I know in some places it is cultural. It is still wrong. I also have an emerging illness when it comes to zoos. I hope to see them all eradicated sometime in the future. It is not fair to use animals for our amusement. They should all be free in their natural habitat, to deal only with nature, their natural prey, and their natural predators.

I remember the old St Paul zoo from when I was a kid – it was terrible, the small cages and “environments” the animals were kept in. I hear they have improved it over the years, but still – not right. Animals need natural preserves they can roam in as themselves and follow their needs and instincts. Just be left alone in all their glory. It’s no more than we ask for ourselves, after all.

The lions, bears, and other big cats and all the animals at our zoo…? Have a small space and all they do it lie around. What sort of life is that? The only animals I ever see having any fun at all are the sea otters and penguins…but I would still rather see them in their natural habitat. Perhaps our children and our children’s children will see fit to do away with these zoos.

yes, sounds like the old St Paul zoo. Not right at all.

We may have strength and weapons on our side but no one said they should be used for wrong. Cages are for protection not confinement.

Habitats are developing. Not fast enough. Costa Rico recently closed all but two zoos and they wanted to shut them down also but have to wait for legal reasons. They created habitats for all the living creatures that were enclosed. It is a start. I would like to see this occur worldwide. The world needs a heart and so do the governments who should use legislation to get these habitats built and the caged zoos shut down permanently. jk-tsk

Habitats need to set up all over the globe, including the US, so animals don’t have to be confined. I saw those places like prisons when I was a kid. It didn’t hit me back then but I am a strong advocate for animal rights and there treatment and rights should be equal with humans. Who are we to claim all of nature as our own. It should belong to everyone. I do understand the need for feeling safe in our environment but we don’t need the kind of space a great many have taken as their own. Thousands of acres on level ground and upwards in city abodes. The imbalance needs rectifying. Cecil the Lion only started up the steam needed to move on these abhorrent conditions and behaviors of feeling superior and justified to murder an unarmed injured animal and to feel NO REGRETS. Palmer is heartless if that is the way he feels or what his lack of feelings are. TY Karen for your comment and concern for these issues. jk-tsk
